Mel’s 101 Services Partners with Nonprofits
Mel's 101 Services has teamed up with two nonprofits. We partner with Cleaning For A Reason, a nonprofit charity organization, to provide cleaning services to women battling cancer. And we partner with Nanny Angel Network, an organization that provides specialized in-home childcare to mothers with cancer and their family in the Greater Toronto Area and Kingston.
We offer many flat-rate service plans, depending on the size of your home. Our team specialist will conduct a phone consultation to determine what will fit your requirements. We also offer to customize cleaning packages to suit your needs and budget. We are certified cleaning technicians here to help you!
You don't have to sign a long-term agreement with us. Just a month-to-month agreement, all we ask is to give us two weeks notice if you decide on canceling the service. When you ask for a quotation online, we will email a personalized quote to you. Or, if you call us in person, we will discuss all the details with you. We will detail email all forms through our DocuSign account to practice social distance.
You will get a one-day reminder on our cleaning software the day before your cleaning. The cleaning technicians will send you an automatic text message 20 0r 30 minutes before arrival time.
You will have a team of certified specialists and cleaning technicians. On your first cleaning, we will conduct a full walk-through after cleaning has been completed to make sure everything is cleaned and you are happy with the service. To not spend the entire day in your home, we assign 2 or 3 cleaning technicians on the first day of your cleaning. Recurring service visits, however, will be determined after your first cleaning and will be discussed with you on how many cleaning technicians will be arriving. We will have the same teams coming on your cleaning schedule; however, in the event, sometimes we would have to send a different cleaning technician depending on the plans for that month or Holidays. The cleaning technicians will always arrive with your work order on the description of items that need to be cleaned. We want to ensure our technicians build a relationship and solid routines on every job. Our customers value the consistency and integrity of our cleaning technicians, We take pride in what we do!
We will have all equipment and supplies on the day of your cleaning schedules. Due to COVID-19, we are taking extra precautions by wiping down our equipment after each visit, and each customer will have their own rag bags. Each customer will also have their feather duster, and we will leave it at the resident's house until further notice. If you want us to use your cleaning supplies, we would have to have the S.D.S sheets in hand under the health and safety law. If you decide on taking our High Touch Sanitize service as an add-on service with your recurring schedule, please let us know in advance.
Our cleaning technicians and specialists are certified and bondable; we do a thorough background check to ensure our customers are protected. Upon arrival at our loading station, all customers' keys are dispatched in the morning, and at the end of the shift, keys are put back in our lock box for the following schedule; this allows us to enter your home without being locked and not charging a lock-out fee. Some Customers work at home or retire. In that case, it's acceptable to provide a code to enter inside. Upon arrival, our cleaning technicians will always ring the bell before entering the home; if you are home or with your family members, we will still be practicing social distance by stepping back a minimum of 6 ft. Your cleaning techs will have gloves and face masks recommended by the health department. Wearing the face covering while working creates an increased opportunity not to touch the face while working. Before entering your home. We will be cleaning your home following our work order details on your service schedule if you choose to add on our High Touch sanitizing. We will clean the house first, then sanitize the high-touch areas listed. We will change gloves after completing washrooms to avoid cross-contamination and use disposable blue clothes to clean the toilet. Washing our hands, placing new gloves before dusting, and completing all dry work. We will ask for a brief questionnaire and send an email 48 hours before your scheduled visit with a summary of the questions. Upon completion of work, your cleaning techs will leave any necessary notes to communicate with you. Hands will be sanitized or washed before exiting and securely locked. You don't need to be home. The option is yours, and we make sure your home is secured as if it was one of our own. These questions are for pre-screening before entry of your home to ensure the safety or our customers and cleaning technicians, and manager. Have you or anyone in the house today suffered from cold or flu-like symptoms in the past 14 days? Have you or anyone in the home today been exposed to a patient diagnosed with COVID-19? If you answer yes to either of these questions, our office manager will inform you that your services will be on hold until 14 days. Our cleaning technicians will be asking the questions upon arrival before entering your home.
All of our cleaning technicians have to go through a thorough background check. With intense training on-site and in person on our policies and procedures. We also do yearly training to ensure our cleaning techs are up to speed. Mel's 101 Services is a certified company for house cleaning technicians. We value our customers and want to protect their properties.
To book your service into our system, a 50% deposit by credit card is required. All credit card information is entered securely through our system. Your data is safe in our stream. The balance of the service fee will be processed after the service is rendered. You will receive a receipt and confirmation on our Zenmaid system to confirm your cleaning schedule once your deposit is confirmed.
If you are rescheduling, we need up to 72 hours because of our cleaning schedules that are on the system, pre-scheduled a month before. If you cancel within 24 hours, there is a last-minute cancellation fee to reassure all of our customers that cleaning schedules are completed and not interrupted by the time frame for arrival times. If you reschedule, we will do our best to accommodate the date. You are requesting depending on what's scheduled on that week. If you cancel the service, we ask you to give us two weeks' notice by email. Upon On the last day of your scheduled cleaning, you will get a reminder by email. All promo cleanings that are discounted already can't be on hold. The services have to be rendered before the scheduled date. If, due to weather conditions or the office cannot provide the service, you will have a credit on your account. No refunds on promos! You can call and inquire about our promo cleanings?
